Communicating From The Heart

Unfortunately there has been no shortage of trauma, pain, suffering, struggle, and challenge for many of us on some level, especially over the last few years.

If you are not tending to your emotional wellbeing in healthy ways, it will come out during your communication with others....unconsciously...without awareness.

But just because you are not aware of it, it does not mean that others aren't.

The way it can come across to others is that it can feel unprovoked, unwarranted, blind-siding, passive-aggressive and somewhat violent...causing further pain, damage, trauma...and further separation.

We do not need to make this the domino effect any longer, and we do not need to add more to what already is.

When those jabs, stabs, digs, zaps, and zings are present during communication it is indicating that there is something underlying that needs to be tended to.

Once you have awareness around it and tend to it, then how and what you communicate empowers you, and becomes a choice.✨

If this is something that matters to you, that you want to shift, and no longer want to participate in, you can choose differently.

Take some time to tend to connect with your heart and your emotions in a healthy way...whether through journaling freely, breathing/meditating, being in nature, participating in movement...whatever it takes to allow the undercurrent of emotion to move through you.

You can then choose to communicate sincerely and non-violently from the heart...and when you do, it lands and can be received differently altogether.

It will bring connection to a more authentic, safe, and trustworthy level, and change the way you relate to others completely.
