A Gentle Reminder To Ground And Center Yourself

With the winds of change blowing in every direction, it is very easy to be uprooted, and therefore overwhelmed.

I certainly felt this in my body over the last few weeks.

I felt my routine and schedule changing while life was racing ahead of me, and somehow I just couldn't catch up to it...and then...a few balls would drop here and there. Yikes!

And then...I remembered to stop/pause. To breathe. To grow my roots down to the ground and connect in to Mother Earth. And to interrupt the cycle of overwhelm.

One simple moment of stopping and pausing is enough to interrupt a cycle, a habit, a pattern, overwhelm, anxiety, and your unconscious default settings that kick in when under stress/durress.

I wanted to share these "rememberings" in case it is of service to you.

Remember that you have a constant source of fuel, safety, replenishment, stability, love, calm, and centeredness right below your feet. Accessible and available anytime and every time. Without condition, deserving, or any of the other nonsense we were taught about receiving love, nourishment, and nurture.

The results of grounding will slow things down in your mind and body leading you to replenishment, heightened intuition and listening, clearer thinking, seeing what's the priority in front of you, and peace/calm/stability inside of you, despite the chaos.

Allow yourself to receive.

Allow yourself to be rooted like a tree, with leaves and branches that flow and grow to new heights.
It only takes a few moments to connect...and it is worth it.
