Evolution

The first steps towards change are happening. There is more awareness and acknowledgement of the pain, suffering, and inequality that exists. We are slowly up-leveling our vocabulary and knowledge.

Along with that, we are collectively using our power together to ensure that laws and policies change across the board.

But do laws actually change us?

Does a law or a policy have the ability to transform belief systems stored deeply within?

Or does that give space for more covert energy to hide under the covers and disguise itself, leaving it to come out in inadvertent ways?

A gentle reminder that the societal patterns of conflict, separation, and hatred began thousands of years ago from the time humans were first created, and have existed ever since. For example:

"Good and Evil.” Man and Woman. Light and Dark. Christian and Jewish. White and Black. Heterosexual and Homosexual.

The thing that seems to “change” is the target that it gets projected onto.

What if this is part of the human experience, until it is consciously challenged and healed?

The trauma, memories, and beliefs from our ancestors and history have been embedded into our our cells, and therefore passed down unconsciously in our DNA from generation to generation. There is also the accumulation of our own personal trauma and experiences that we have held within.

Since our subconscious (that which is underneath our awareness) holds and drives 95% of our thoughts, experiences, choices, actions, and behaviors, doesn't this need to be explored and examined more deeply

While this is a process, it is also an ingredient in the recipe that has been far overlooked, which can potentially bring about lasting change.

Healing the subconscious patterns and trauma within is a way we can break the cycle and stop it from being passed down to the generations after us. We can do the healing that our ancestors were unable to do. We may then have the ability to secure a safer, healthier, more harmonious, and equitable place for all to co-exist and thrive.

This power is available to us right now, in this very ripe moment in time.  We simply need to choose it.I invite you to join me in shining light on our conscious and unconscious contribution to the collective.

This requires honesty, bravery, non-judgement, and compassion for that is the only way you will create a space to heal and transform.

Here’s a list of “prompts” or questions to reflect on or journal about:

  • What are the prejudices/stereotypes exist within me?

  • What do I judge others based on?

  • Do I treat people unfairly or unequally based on a bias or assumption?

  • Do I fear anyone based on their race, gender, preferences, or religion?

  • Do I feel inferior or superior to others? If so, to whom?

  • What part of me misuses or abuses my own power?

  • Do I prefer or advocate for win-lose situations?

  • What part of me is gaining from this?

In confronting and healing these “subtle” energies within yourself, you will be the one who emanates more peace, love, respect, and harmony into the world.

This process will align you to be the changemaker you are, inside and out.

I know from nearly 2 decades of personal experience that the healing journey is not easy, but it is necessary.

I am here to support you and guide you through this.

May you be blessed on your inward healing journey, and May you realize that your healing is a blessing to ALL.
